SMASH, SMASHING

　smashは「破砕、 粉砕、強打」といった意味でもちろん使われるが、口語表現では「大盛況、大成功」という意味でも用いられる。

　今日のGetUpEnglishでは、「大盛況、大成功」の意味で使われるsmashを学習しよう。

　形容詞smashingも「すばらしい、大成功の」という意味で用いられる。

　「彼女の手際の良さに感心している」
