「尻取り」ゲームの英語の説明、ChatGPTなら瞬時にできる

　今、週２，３回ボランティアで外国人の方に日本語レッスンを行っています。

　その中で今年からオンライン（Zoom）でレッスンを始めたネパール在住の高校生については、今週私の友人を招いて3人で「尻取りゲーム」をやることにしました。

　高校生が尻取りを続けられるほど日本語の語彙があるかどうか心配なので、尻取りに相応しい？単語帳を作って送ることにしました。

　もう一つは尻取りゲームの説明ですね。日本語の説明では理解できないと思い、英語で説明文を用意することにしました。

　最初から説明文を書いていくことも不可能ではありませんが、時間がもったいないのでChatGDPに頼んでみました。

　そうすると瞬時にして以下の説明文ができあがりました。

　「AIにできることはAIに任せてAIにはできないこと～たとえば対面で相手の理解度を確認しながらレッスンを進めるなど～に力を入れよう」と考えた次第です。

　Shiritori is a popular Japanese word game where players take turns saying a word that begins with the final syllable or sound of the previous player's word. For example, if the first player says "sakura" (さくら), the next player must say a word that starts with "ra" (ら), such as "rakugaki" (らくがき).


There are a few rules to keep in mind while playing Shiritori. First, words cannot be repeated within the same game. Additionally, players cannot use words that end in the syllable "n" (ん), as there are very few words in the Japanese language that start with that sound. Finally, proper nouns and words written in katakana (a Japanese writing system used for foreign words) are usually not allowed.


The game can be played with any number of players and can be a fun way to practice your Japanese vocabulary while also challenging your friends.
